Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Impact Report: August 2023

In August 2023, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s aerial unit flew 219 hours and covered 15,753 kilometers. The aerial unit was predominantly occupied with solving human-elephant conflicts and administering veterinary treatments. Their veterinary units attended to a total of 51 wildlife cases with 17 of them being elephant-related and 27 of them being poaching-related.
